First of all, welcome to the forum.
Yeah mileage does not matter too much, if I had the choice betweem a high millage diesel or petrol, I'd go for the diesel engines as they are a lot tougher than petrol ones, so its not neccesserily a bad thing. However, if I was to use mine as an example, which is on just over 67,000, it has had a few issues and is well on its way to being fixed now. Hate to say it, but at times it is the luck of the draw!!
