just though id show people the results i get when wet sanding. The wing it self was a home painted item by the previous owner who just painted it quickly rather than taking time to do it obviously a novice. today i was just doing bits on bobs on the car and so trialled a bit of wet sanding to see what could be done to the wing.
only pics iv got of the wing that make it obvious of how bad a match it was
So cracked on with the wet sanding the car had previously been clayed although this wouldnt matter as the sanding removes contaminants
Then cracked out my favoutite menzerna compound polish
The colour match is much better than before not 100% but much better and the orange peel has been reduced dramatically to an almost orange peel free finish.
Next up the whole Car!
