The standard offset will be somewhere between ET15 and ET18 depending on which wheels you have. To bring back the nimrods at ET28, you'll need at least 10mm hubcentric spacers, though as Matt said you could also go for 13mm hubcentrics. CG Cars in Leicester used to supply 13mm hubcentrics at around £80 a pair, and I think you could probably get some longer bolts too (or at least he'd know where to get them).

10mm will be fine though
