Shit week/Rant

Off on a bit of a rant here. Just had a shit week and want to get everything off my chest, so you lot are the unlucky audience for this one. Sorry

I normally consider myself to be rather laid back and take most things on the chin. This week has tested my patience though.

For those who don't know, I've stupidly gone and gotten myself a hernia. Not fun when you work in the trade doing a manual job, and train for martial arts 5/6 days of the week. Its left me pretty much inactive, and its driving me insane :evil:
The operation is on 8th May, and TBH i cant wait for it to be done and behind me to get back to doing what it do.
I've already had to take a week off work, and then after the op I need another 4-6 weeks R&R before i go back, so my pay packet is going to be rather light, to say the least. Not ideal.

Some may have seen on FB my new haircut:

What a load of shit. My clippers said number 3. Not the same number 3 i normally get at the barbers. Turns out it meant 3mm. I now look like a tool!

I split up with my girlfriend of 4 years about 7 days ago. Whilst I'm confident i made the right decision, I'm finding it hard. I used to spend most evenings with her so going from that, to having loads of spare time is a bit odd. Couple this with the fact i cant do much because of this stupid hernia, im not having a whale of a time at home lol.
We are still in regular contact, but it consists of her spending a lot of time (understandably) upset. Makes me feel like such a knob, knowing that she is upset because of what I have done, but i cannot really change this.

And then i get in tonight, eager to mong out infront of the TV with a beer and chienese takeaway. Crack open the beer and its flat. Get another. Flat. And another. And another. Dud case... hock:
Icing on the cake.


So in summary, I'm disabled, with a stupid haircut, now single, and cant enjoy a beer at home!


Sorry for the rant, just wanted to get it off my chest. Ill shut up now
