1, The washer bottle is now too exposed on the front end, if i knock it off roading its gonna be hassle so its better to just relocate it.
2, Certainly! I use a popular & decent Midland 98 unit & mic and a roof mounted 3ft springer aerial. Hasnt got much range on it but it does what i need it too![]()

Yes i have had several 306's with a mag mount aerial up top and cb mounted either in the cubby hole or screwed to the side of the center console
interesting to know. could be useful to eavesdrop traffic chatter on the way to the coast come holiday time.
I saw on some shop sites your particular rig is discontinued. so what about the '48 or '78?
