also remember the 1 ton ratting is at its shortest mast length it is easyer to use these with extended masts so you will need the larger 2 ton lift
Yours was spot on mate, tbh probably wouldn't have got the engine out if it was on a shorter setting so may just get a 2 ton as its not much more costly

I have one like this, 3T capacity was a must as i'm regularly jacking up my landrover, also low entry as i'm regularly jacking up my rallyes or megane.
Best off spending the extra now and never needing to spend it againLow entry high lift aluminum jacks are the good stuff.

Although I went for the ally low entry jack, bit beefier and nicer to use... But bit more expensive
How come you went for the ally over a steel? Obviously be lighter but I was thinking wouldn't the have more flex in them? Wouldn't want to spend that much only for it to twist the chassis of the jack
