Yes the insurance game does not always run on logic,I only move companies when I have to - but I compare quotes every year (there can be no allegiance to insurance companies),usually after you have been with a company for 3-4 years then the premium goes up,so you shop around and then call your ins company to see if they will match it - sometimes they will sometimes they will not,if they will price match and I am happy with them then I will usually stay.
I always check online reviews before going with any particular company.
