I thought I knew the insurance game fairly well until January LOL
I had operated my 306 as a second car and therefore could not claim my NCD on it but I had subsequently built up 3 years NCD on it !
Anyway by Jan this year I had sold my 'main' car and my GF passed her test so we then insured her as main driver for the Polo and me for the 306.
We ended up both being insured with Tesco because they gave a good price for her !
Anyway when I phoned tesco to transfer my main NCD (9 yrs) to the 306 - they said 'would you like to transfer the 306 - 3 years NCD to your partner ? ! LOL
Sure why not
) I said and we got a £95 refund too ....result .
Tesco seem to be quite relaxed about insurance if you live at the same address and (mostly) very friendly on the phone but I was very surprised when they offered the transfer of NCD !!
