"Sensible, but unique"

"1-series, X3, XC90..."

This is clearly some new use of the words sensible and unique with which i'm not familiar, but i'll try and work with it, think i've got a few ideas:
Honda HRV
Audi A4 S-line
Toyota Rav4

Or if you're feeling really wild, how about a Nissan Qashqai?

I'm not looking for a completely unique car, hence "little unique", i'm not for a common road car

123d and 135i coupes ... not the most common car on the road? Correct me if i'm wrong?

s40 T5 again, I've not seen one, and according to the online database, only a couple hundred left in the country?

As for the XC90, separate from the initial post, I began looking at SUV's, those two were in for potentials.
