I daily my 330ci and occasionally drive the other halfs S2 HDi. I think 'as good to drive' is a bit of a strong statement as they're very different cars. Comfort wise? Not a chance. Spec wise? Not a chance. But for chucking around a decent B road the 306 is a hell of a car and I don't think you can get much better for the price you pick them up for
