That's every last penny accounted for, breathalysers, insurance, beer, camping, laps, the lot.I have a large (I mean 3 double 'rooms') [Hi-Gear Sahara 6] I was planning to sell off on Ebay (2nd attempt) if any one wants it.
Use your brain a bit and it can be done cheaply: Ferry tickets are cheaper mid-week at unpopular times of day. If there's more than one person in a car you can save on a night's camping by splitting the driving overnight. Cater in a group and cook dinner at the campsite rather than going out. Take a big tent because it's cheaper to have one large pitch than 3 small ones. Keep an eye on fuel station prices and fill up when it's cheap, not just when you need to. You get the idea.
It goes, it stops (as reqd).
