homologation papers are only any use if you plan to build a historic car really.

306's arent rare yet, you can start with a 1.4 base model, you won't need any of the stuff on a standard gti6 anyway.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
