xud lump into petrol 406?

Having owned a mildly fettled 406 1.9td I can say it was dog shit slow. You can carry huge speed in them but not sure it would be worth the effort. Not a hugely comfy car like a Volvo or Saab

Rather a 406 then either of those. 

Why go to the bother of fitting in an XUD on a sub €500 car? That's a huge amount ofwork that isn't worth it. There are PLENTY of 1.9TDs here in the south if you look hard enough
