Saw this puppy on the DriftWorks forum on Friday and somehow managed to beat every other bargain hunting drift kiddy too it!
£300 and £10 fuel later I had this bad boy.

Should owe me about £500 in mod's all of which can be sold/transfered/whatever if and when I write it off, even less if I'm patient and buy via auctions and/or second hand.
The other option is to turbo it to 400bhp, the manifold/turbo wouldn't be particularly expensive but the stand alone management and mapping would, so probably best just brushing that under the carpet and leave the turbo business to the Datsun! After all this is supposed to be cheap and cheerful!
Finally, some pictures after I clay barred, polished, hoovered and cleaned it (WANRING, DON'T GET JELOUS):
