oh man dum dum, go and put the kettle on will you  some of those you have mentioned are owned either by Ford, Tata, Vauxhall or Proton, are the following even still Production? TVR, Marcos, is aston martin still owned by us? never heard of Norble or Norton, also you forgot to mention ginetta, westfield and caterham  
joke a side i should have said the average fella like ours can buy, as the said cars you have mentioned bar lotus and landrover, all the rest go for quite a bit, or even kit car based.

and what about nissan?  owned by renault..
