Ok so I've ordered up some new bits, gonna just risk the water pump / oil pump / gaskets etc, they all look ok'ish (except for the front crank / main seal but that might my paranoia)..

Will be using Toyota 10w40 oil for the time being just to get it going.
The guy that delievered the engine turned up in a van with an American style fridge in front of it and no fork lift, cheers mate! >_<
Anyway, it's on the floor, currently cleaning it up, will begin removing mine soon, it's now parked in the "Pro Tune Shop" shed waiting for the transplant.
It also needs:
- Rear caliper replacing
- Fuel tank strap securing
- Side skirts
Engine arrival:
Cracking the crate open:
Oily area of concern on front corner of block near crank seal:
Rust on the sump pan:
The dirty block:
After some cleaning:
