I must admit I used to get tyres fitted and balanced to loose cyclones at ATS (not their own tyres) for a fiver each inc centreless balancing! The latest time I asked though they weren't doing any more cash in hand jobs, I guess they've been told off for it... 
He just suggested other places for me to try lol.
Should've let him sit there with his feet and ask to use the machine yourself, balancing is really easy anyway lol. Plus it doesn't take anywhere near 10 mins to fit the adapter if they use the machine as our local ATS, less than 2 I'd say!
