water pump help

Ok so the guy that may have fitted wrong size off ball joint on my car causing it break says that a new water pump with timing belt etc wouuld cost 240 to supply and fit is that a normal price cause the kits are around 50 quid any help would be appreciated
Old enough to know better
Young enough to do it anyway wishes he had started a rescue project thread |
