Driving down the value of labour, and wages so that yet more people's wages need to be subsidised by the welfare state. Most people claiming benefits are IN WORK, the best incentive to get people off their arses and into jobs is a positive one that they'll actually earn enough money to make a living, not some zero-hour contract with minimum wage poverty pay. Meanwhile, the greedy corporations pay some of the lowest business taxes in the western world.
