Right, the 3 pin plug on the radiator is how this works...
IIRC from when I've done this before, the high/low speed is controlled by 2 being the common and it switching 1 for the low speed, then high speed is activated by it switching pin 3 - so basically, take that plug and all you should need to do is to put in your own switch which links the wires to pins 2 and 3 on that plug, use the stock relay and take the wires that go to the stock fans and wire in your slimlines
That's totally from memory, so I'd strongly suggest testing this before doing it!
