I guess it depends who you're with. Footman james say 15years and gave me the cheapest quote by far with only ~£100 excess, 5000miles, me and the wife insured and a non fault & at fault claim

Edit: i'll also mention, when i taxed the bmw with direct debit, the first payment is now £40 instead of £20 (first payment was £20 a couple of weeks ago for the same tax price). You may want to look into that if you plan on only taxing a month at a time

Looks like you're right, for some reason I thought 'classic' insurance was only 25+. Will try some quotes later on.

Ah that would make sense , one month and one in advance...I could always do 2 months at a time if that's how it works out. Will have to look further into that as well I think!
