They are not going to be expensive to make at all. The materials are not a lot of money and my mate wants beer money to make them.
These dudes work with metal for a living so I will listen to them. They seem to know what I want and they know what we do with the XUD and the stresses they will be under.
I am aware they may not work, but for the cost, it is worth trying to avoid the £200 odd cost of ARPs. They will be less than £100 by far to make with my friend only having beer money.
I will be the guinea pig with them and if they don't work, they don't work.
Mainly wondered about silver steel cos i've never heard of it, being a bricky, and if the threads should be cut into them or rolled.
