yes you do, 90's don't have intercoolers, therefore its a bit daft to map them.
they aren't "weaker" they have moving parts which inevitably wear, they also have bigger clutches, and bigger gearbox driveshafts etc.
funnily enough there isnt a 90 hdi on servicebox
