CB is easy, install it once and not worry about it, rather than have to be buying batteries or constantly charging walkie talkies with naff range.
CB's are better for convoy as you can still keep in touch if someone gets lost or takes a wrong turn and ends up miles away
Bit of microfibre cloth glued to the base of the magmount limits paintwork damage and CB's can easily be hidden in glovebox's / under dashboards and run off the ignition live for the stereo. what could be simpler?
Also works as communications in the event of a zombie apocalypse.... *runs off to panic buy CB radios*
