Admiral are still cheapest for me as well, £350 for the HDi, stage 1, exhaust, angel eyes, etc....not sure what you done to get a £6k quote!

I told them the truth about the car like mods i done which was the lights, they said it wss because i was young and the engine size was big for my age? I even put my dad as a second driver with 5yrs NCB..

Just rang them up now and declared every single mod including badge spray interior spraying and it came to £1560.88 which is about £200 more than brentacre, i dont know why it was £6000 before when i done it online..
