Probs the best way, rushing it could = failure. I had a spare off my old 205 for parts just incase. TBH most of the seals are a certain shape/size/material so it's easy enough to identify the new'un against the old'un.
I am still tweaking the pump as I put it on an XUD11 engine, it ain't pissing WVO out so it's all good
