But on a serious note, the risk you run buying a scrap one, is that you do not know it is fully functional, and scrappies seldom offer a warranty on electrical items. Try looking round ebay, or places such as Euro Car Parts etc.

thanks Grant, i will take your advice and get a new one on ebay i see there are some for £20... are the intermotor ones any good they are a bit more at £25...
