Id change the front end to something more angular (similar to latest Golf/Polo ish), remove rub strips, use newer style rounded door handles and better shaped mirrors, preferably without the annoying mirror whistle. Oh, and I'd make sure it had arch liners all round and longer door looms!
So basically, not a 306 at all.
^^^ I'd love to build a ph1 106 with a 1.4HDi lump in it for similar reasons.
