Not just you Ozone, I'm the same with HDi's, or any diesel I've owned tbh!
You're always waiting for boost, then get it all dumped in quickly and run out of gear, change up and the same again....boooooring!
Doesn't matter how much power it's got, I just don't like turbo diesel delivery.
The anticipation and the linear pull of a petrol is so much nicer for a B road blast imo, and the noise as its reaching the climax as well mmmmm....but I'm also poor and lazy, so decent mpg and being able to do hill starts just on the clutch is also good for me lol, always a compromise.
