Car is stage 2 and is running 160+ bhp (dyno proven) so with the boot down I would have thought it would try overheat?
No signs of overheating at all but there is a big buildup of pressure in there, it overflows the coolant like crazy if I manage to get the cap off after a run.
Stat would be the easiest to replace probably.
if you are taking the cap off before it has cooled then it will overflow because as the coolant heats up it evaporates and builds up presser to reduce the boiling point
its if it overflows when the lid is on that's when you have a presser problem
