FOR SALE:hdi egr blanking plate
#6
Really easy to fit, loosen (easier if you don't remove them completely) the two nuts holding the inlet elbow to the mani, then remove the two bolts holding the egr to the elbow. Pull the elbow away from the mani to open up a gap, then slot the blanking plate in with gaskets (made from cereal box, optional) and do everything back up. I find it easier if i line up the top hole on the blank with the bottom half sticking out to the side and wind the top bolt in a couple of turns, then swivel the blank down as i push the other bolt in against it, so when the lower bolt drops through you know it's all lined up. Do everything up then go pour tcp over the back of your lacerated hands. Wink
