As i said above, technically yes. Although you have fitted all the parts to make them legal, they still never passed type approval with them so technically, yes they are illegal.

Also, im interested to see where you get a aftermarket HID kit with levellers. And I'm pretty sure washers aren't needed any more Wink

If something has an E marking on it it has been type approved I believe?
What if the components used to make the kit are all type-approved, E-marked and approved etc.? Surely this would make it a legal modification, otherwise every modification no matter big or small would be illegal...

Err not sure if I'm honest but if that is correct, bear in mind how easy is it for a company to just print that logo on the box? Bear in mind most of the HID kits these guys use are the cheap Chinese ones, we all know them guys don't give a f*ck about ripping off logos, patents, brands, markings etc.
