Restoring a 206GTI gearknob?

I looked closely at my sisters car (206CC) with the same aluminium style as I'd like, and it;s that same brushed+lacquer style as you describe, so not easy to refurb to OEM, but perhaps better just to go all out and polish it!
I bought one from eBay today, so will take some before and after pictures later. |
