Yeah true, the prices are the same story. I spoke to andy via email if thats any help?
He said the paddle will happily do 300lb but they wouldnt rate it at any more to cover themselves afaik.
Hedid state that the twin plate & custom flywheel option (~£500) would do 450lbft. Bit overkill but nice to know theres something beefy out there I suppose.
I guess my thinking was that a standard pressure plate and Valeo/LuK friction would do 270 - 280 lbft for a year or so, proven.. so an uprated pressure plate would be suffice for my 300lb goal
The pressure plate/springs definately did look well made & was beefier than the LuK that came out of the car albeit it was probably 140k old.
