I'm late to this party but hey ho.
Both the fiesta and the nova were the low powered hot hatches. There was a faster nova GSi and a fiesta RS1800 (more powerful version of the mondeo lump in Mays XRpoo) and RSTurbo.
I cant believe that they went for hatches of that era and there was no 205 or 306 (depending on exactly what era had been specced) a 306GTi6 would of wiped the floor with all of them. A bit shocked the Nova was faster than the golf on the hill, thatll shut some of the VAG boys up a bit.
Oh and rolling the nova on the way back down on the inside of the corner, yeah, nice try lads but centrifugal force says otherwise.
