its pretty much a case of cut and fit. Ive done it on my estate. May have some pictures in my thread and photobucket.

Essentially you cut it and make sure the cage fits. The centre console isn't actually straight. You have to remove the air ducts from the centre console which means it looses its rigidity. You then need to move the head unit loom down. It is long enough so you shouldn't have a problem. Good luck!
