As above - were the top mount bearings changed? When I did mine, the top mounts were supplied with the bearing having been fited upside down, and had exactly the same symptoms.

By the way, they were genuine Peugeot ones as well that had the bearing incorrectly fitted.

That's how they usually come to save space and packaging....you're supposed to turn them over before fitting though. Bit late now I know haha!
