Daunting at first, but you get a better quality of life because you don't have to put every single penny towards paying for the house.
You only have to go as far as Nottingham to really notice the price drop.
That's cheap for what we have got, most places more like £500+ rent went though the roof when no one could afford to buy! If can find a place cheaper for same as we have now would move tomorrow, think we have done ok with this lived here 2 years with out rent going up, didn't have to pay bond, garden, drive way and shed (all the important bits for me)
In exactly the same situation down here mate, houses are expensive too lol
