I'd be willing to wager that I used to get stopped more than pretty much anyone else on this forum (like 3 times a day) when I was younger but never had any real trouble with police, nothing that wasn't understandable and I've looked down the barrel of a MP5, been cuffed, searched the whole lot.
Because that human in a fancy vest has the power to stop you, prosecute you for your tints (that you are obviously aware are illegal) and don't forget you can still be arrested for minor road traffic offences.
