i am arguing that class IS irrelevant, and that it is under question.
Many theorists study class as a social phenomena and abide strongly by the notion that class is a strong governor amongst society - this i do not agree with.
again connor, what is your point?
as for the violin as a catalyst for the debate, the violin is traditionally an upper class marker of taste, as is particular art, ballet, theatre and so on...
