Right guys. My first post here... so forgive me if anything has been covered already.
Alot of you no im in the military. we have a fitness test once every 6 months.
Which, is the only time i step foot in the gym at work...
Now ive started a couple of weeks ago and im starting, with an experienced gym monkey the abercrombie model workout.
I need some ideas of what sort of stuff i should be eating before and after the gym.
Before is more tricky as i have to eat in the mess, and working shifts means i go to the gym different times of the day...
whenever i finish a workout, i get back to my room and im starving hungry (a la tonight, hence this post)
Whats good to eat? thinking a pack of chicken and maybe an egg or too.
The only cooking facilities i have is a microwave, a toasted sandwhich maker & a kettle.
I really struggle to put wieght on. In afghan i was on 2 protein shakes a day, and i was eating like a horse at mealtimes. Maybe the fact i only did about a week n a half in the gym had something to do with it too, but ive always struggled putting wieght on.
This time i really want to put some mass on. Is it worth doing shakes or just eat inbtween my meals?
Sorry its a lot of questions. But its deffiantly time to see some gains!
