Did you then weld a bit of straight pipe then flexi after that 90!?

Yeah i welded a reducer onto that because i had a 2.25" system at the time! I THINK you might be able to get away with welding whatever angle you need at the bottom straight onto the flexi as long as it had some material each end of the bend if that make sense?
