Makes little-to-no-difference whether it's genuine or not. I would personally doubt it being an original. Some of the kits are actually better. People forget that the 500KR wasn't actually that great of a machine, it was a homologation special to use the 7L engine. Actual power outputs are sceptical, as it was obviously very quick...in a straight line. From what I've read, the car used standard, wobbly suspension

Who gives a flying f*ck about any of that when the car looks like it does :-)
