My 205 XUD- the time has come to move on

So after this final engine problem which I think is major piston ring damage/ other internal f*ck ups after only being back on the road for a few hours it's probably time to move on with the car and get something different probably a 306 or something.
Main reason is that I need something more reliable/safer to use as a daily. I love this car so much but do not have the time money or space to fix it as my parents are getting fed up with it being sat on the drive some state of repair leaking oil all over the floor.
