Also, if it were me, I would re-use some second hand rings, now I know lots of people would disagree with me, but when people literally cant give engines away then I would feel sick spending £80 on some rings!
also as dum dum said, factory honing marks still there so the bore still has good shape, quick wip over with a honing tool would be fine.
