How would this activate and start firing at the right time?

put a micro switch on full throttle? . .

That or some kid of circuit with a resistor that works via throttle % if you want it gradual like... I need to find someone who has methanol injection and know what kind of difference it makes :/

you would need a BIG tank to manage that...its usually a switch that once you are either passed a certain throttle position, like 70/80% or better still, once you reach a boost pressure
