Are you fully comp insurance? If you are it probably covers windscreens and you'd 'only' have to pay about £50 excess.

Windscreens aren't exactly cheap if you can't go through insurance though.
But yeah, still definitely get someone to do it....at least it'll be properly sealed and wont leak then, and if it does it's gaurantee'd anyway.
