uprated radiator?

Synthetic oils can get very hot and still be OK, as has been said it's over cooling that you want to worry about. The best idea mentioned so far would be a thermostatic sandwich plate and a smaller oil cooler. Best of both worlds IMO. But first off, check that you need it before you blow a load of money on shiny stuff that isn't needed!
