your SNR for noise has dropped from 7.2 to 6.1 which is good. It might settle down a little bit more after that (you may have a faulty internal extention, but we'll get to that)

unplug the internet again, stick in a analogue (non digital or cordless) phone into the test socket. Dial 17070 option 2. Listen for any noise, wind, rustling etc. It should be perfectly silent.

If its not, then you phone BT and bitch you have noise on the line (dont say anything about broadband). Once they fix the noise, your internet should behave as it should.

I'd also phone EE and tell them to put you on an "interleaved" profile.
