Well, replaced the HG, WP and timing belt on the scrap 5 door 2001 1.4 i bought for grins

had it on the road for a few days (mixed driving 80% motorway) and - if my maths are correct

299.2 miles @ 28.82 litres @ 130.9 a litre = average 47.2mpg / 12.6p per mile / 79 mile to a tenner.

Not bad for an 11 year old petrol motor.
